It's power is said to flow from the black sun itself, fiery, absolute, infinite.

Info: The black sun is a star so powerful, that it devours any other planets and stars on it's way, working like a black hole, it can continue to grow by absorbing mass from its surroundings. The black phoenix, also known as death phoenix, shares the same hunger. To keep it's lifeforce growing, it devours the souls of others, making them empty and desperate.

Lol, I got quite inspired for the sun by watching IMAX Solarmax. It made me see the sun from an other point of view.
