When death approaches, a necrocorax rises from the underworld to guide the souls of the departed to the Necropolis (City of the dead)
Info: The necrocorax, a sacred bird of Anubis, is known to be a guardian of the soul in the afterlife, protecting ba, a free-ranging spirit which could "go forth by day" from the tomb into the world. The Book of the Dead, describes that if all aspects of a person could be variously preserved, remembered, and satiated, then the dead person would live on in the form of an akh, a blessed spirit with magical powers who would dwell among the gods.

Many thanks for faving! Please comment if you like it!
I really like the light coming down and also how you cant really see his eye well, it makes this bird seem even more mystical and mysterious great job!
Thank you so much for your support Miyu! I'm glad that you like it and the concept! I love mythology so I wonder how I missed to do more stuff like that! XD
As always you're most welcome. Maybe you've been to much distracted lately to remember about it (just my wild guess and the situation I'm very often in). So I take you're planning to do more in the future.
That's a strong yes, I hope I'll have much more ideas mythology-related (in fact much more time to spend on working on them because I have unlimited ideas in my head concerning that matter) lol
