Wicked sweet - it was my first thoughts as I clicked on this picture.
However the colors seem very limited, the dragon's form and what it is flying over have the same tones, and it makes it get a little lost in the picture, I can't tell if it has two or four wings, if it is clouds and snow that the dragon is flying through or if it a reflection of clouds and stars on water.
I feel like the dragon itself seems kinda static, maybe like it is simply gliding and not trying to fly, this comes from the stick strait form, which also makes me wonder how it would land, because from the angle it is portrayed it appears to have no front of back limbs.
The fact that the horns are two different lengths gives a little bit of perception as well as realism, it makes the from seem perhaps like it didn't get to develop fully, and just makes it feel a little bit more unique rather than everything perfect and symmetrical like so many artists try to achieve (which I often fail at myself)
Note also that though this is a dragon, there was extra details to this one that made it unique against the others, so many times have I seen dragons that are carbon copies of one another only differing in color or style, it makes it hard to look through dragon pictures...
To the artist: I feel like this is not one of your strongest pieces, and yet it is still better than I could do, please keep up the good work my friend :3
To the other readers: It would be worthwhile to check out some more pieces from his gallery.
This is so awesome! Love it! You should do something like a faerie queen dragon. I think that would look cool! I really like how you did the wings and tail on this one! pretty neat!
